Wonders of America Trivia Stamp #6

SPOILER ALERT — READ TRIVIA POSTS IN ASCENDING ORDER. Enter "Wonders" and click on "SEARCH THIS BLOG" at the top of this page to find previous posts.

New Question on Stamp #6:

Where is the largest estuary in America?

Hint: It has nothing to do with the tidy bowl man.

Answer will appear in post with "Stamp #7" in the title.

Answer to Previous Question on Stamp #5:

The tallest sand dunes are the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. They rise more than 750' above the floor of the San Luis Valley at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Strong winds blow over the mountains toward the northeast, moving sand and constantly reshaping the dunes.

On May 27, 2006, the U.S. Postal Service released the Wonders of America stamp collection. There are 40 stamps that feature natural and man-made wonders of the United States. The front of each stamp illustrates the superlative nature of a particular place or thing and the name or location of the featured wonder. Text on the back of each stamp provides relevant statistics and other interesting information.

For this game, I'll ask the question and in the next post of this series, give the answer and whatever other info that's on the back of the stamp.
