Judy Shepard, who created the Matthew Shepard Foundation after her son was killed 8.5 years ago because he was gay, has been nominated for the prestigious "Volvo for Life" awards. If she wins, Volvo will donate $50K to the foundation and give her a Volvo. However, she needs the votes to win!
