Another "Traditional Values" Hypocrite

Former Republican House Speaker (and Houston exterminator) Tom DeLay, who resigned from Congress because of charges of money laundering in Texas, is out promoting a new book. Yeah, this is the guy who beat America over the head with his version of "traditional values"...an ethos that apparently holds "Do as I say, not as I do" as its First Commandment.

This scumbag writes of indiscretions with alcohol and women, describing himself during his early years in the Texas legislature and Congress as a party boy with a roving eye. "I drank too much," he writes. "I slept with women I wasn't married to. I neglected my family. This is the truth, and I recount it with a deep sense of grief that I ever lived in such a manner."

When will the flock wake up to the fact that these false prophets are hungry for power and money from the pulpit to take them there? It makes my blood boil and I haven't given them a penny.
