I canceled my excursion to meet friends in NYC today.
I was going to suck it up and pay the extra money to go on Amtrak out of Albany. My friends are worth it and it's been so long since I've seen them.
While the snow could be managable, the Amtrak station is not. News reports show passengers stranded in the terminal and trains into NYC have been canceled.
On top of this, Mom had another seizure this morning. When it snows, it pours. Same thing as New Year's Eve. I didn't call 911 today though since last time meant 3 days in the hospital and no answers. I was able to get her onto the couch and she seems to be coming around. If it is like last time, it will be several days before she gets back to the level she was at before.
Oh, and I feel like crap too. I feel really run down and I have congestion in my sinuses and chest. Sheesh!

So sorry to hear about your mom. And too bad about your trip. It's miserable here today and I have to get to my audition in all of this mess! YIKES.
I'm sorry that everything seems to have gone so lousy for you and your mom this weekend. At the same time, I'm glad that for once, we were on the back fringe of this thing and only got about two inches of it.
