I joined three other bloggers and a friend for dinner at DeJohn's on Lark Street (the Capital District's "alternative" area) in Albany. We went in support of the Dining Out For Life charity event where participating restaurants donate 25% of the evening's food bill proceeds to the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York.
Afterwards, we walked to a new bar named "Rocks" on Central Avenue right across the street from the Waterworks Pub I mentioned in yesterday's post.
Friend Russ took this pic of the bloggers: Idle Eyes and a Dormy, Allogenes, A Work In Progress, and me.
A great time was had by all!

Man, that's an all male strip dance show waiting to happen. Woof! Thanks for being part of a wonderful evening handsome!
Very nice looking group. I too went out to a restaurant supporting this in Saratoga, Mexican Connection. We made an additional donation at the table when the organizer came around. She was so nice and shy her hand was trembling when she handed us the pen we had to try to make her day.
Hi, just passed your blog when pushing the "next blog" button and enjoyed reading it. Hello from Austria!
Lordy...now how in the heck did Pete manage to not show me these "sights" in Albany. It would have been nice to meet some NY bloggers.
At least Pete and I were both Dining Out for AIDS at the Mexican Connection...and I made a worthwhile donation.
PS...thanks for stopping by my "place" in blogland.
It looks like when I come to visit my friends in Westernville I'm definitely going to have to stop over in Albany. I'll tell myself it's because I'm dying to visit "William Kennedy Country", but even I'll know I'm lying.
Dining Out For Life is an amazing cause. The one in Vancouver is huge.
