Archbishop Angelo Amato, secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and the Vatican's second-highest ranking doctrinal official, forcefully branded homosexual marriage an evil and denounced abortion and euthanasia as forms of "terrorism with a human face." Psychology 101: We don't like in others what we like least in ourselves.
This was the latest in a string of speeches made by either Pope Benedict or other Vatican officials as Italy considers giving more rights to homosexuals.
When are those queens in the Vatican going to come out of the closet and leave the rest of us alone? Get a load of the Pope's stunningly embroidered gown and fabulous hat, too. No doubt she's wearing Prada shoes and her Gucci sunglasses are safely tucked away in her handbag.
Quite frankly, it angers me that an institution so enmeshed in child rape and its cover-up thinks it has any moral authority superior to mine, let alone the gaul to think they can preach it at me.
