**SPOILER ALERT FOR ENTIRE POST**
Primary Storyline and Backstory
This week's episode was Sun-centric, with the back story and island time mostly about her pregnancy and marriage to Jin.
• In Korea, we are reminded of Sun's affair and Jin's infertile. We also get more of a glipse of how that culture revolves around honor. Jin's prostitute Mom blackmails Sun. Sun pays her off and says she have the mother killed if she opens her yap about Jin. Jin thinks his parents (he thinks were poor fisher people) are dead which somehow makes the shame bearable.
• We know that Sun took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Was the father baldy from the affair, or Jin? Had Jin's juices been rejuvenated since he arrived on the island? Juliet tells Sun that babies conceived on the island are more problematic than those from off the island. After a midnight run to the Flame station (you know, where Ethan had Claire all doped up), Juliet knows all about birthing babies, she pops a hidden door to reveal a secret room with medical equiment. An ultrasound on Sun reveals that the fetus is 58 days old and, since they've been on the island 90 days, Jin is going to be the proud papa. Good for Jin (the baby's his), good for Sun (her husband's the baby daddy), bad for Jin and Sun as she's gonna die, baby and all, in the 2nd trimester.
• Sun questions Jack's sincerity about interest in her baby. What happened in the time he spent with the others? Is he now loyal to them? And, in the upcoming fracas for the final episode, will she side with him?
Secondary Storyline
• Last week, the parachutist fell from the night sky and muttered "Desmond" before passing out. With her, she had a picture of Desmond and Penny that was stuck in a book — a Portugese translation of Catch-22. In last season's finally, the folks in the snowbound (Antartica) tracking facility were speaking Portugese.
• Parachutina starts off speaking Spanish, then as her delirium continues, she speaks Chinese. Hurley sets off a flare and the Russian comes, previously thought dead, comes running through the jungle shortly thereafter. He talks to the girl. He tells the group, with shifty eyes, that she's speaking Italian. But, since he was in the Staff communications station, has he been talking with the station in Antartica in Portugese?
Elsewhere on the Island
• Where's the smoke monster? Jin, Hurley, Charlie, and Desmond have been tromping through the jungle for over a day. Juliet and Sun are on a long mission to the Flame. The Russian shows up and who knows how long he's been running around the island outside the electric fence.
• The Russian, apparently back from electrocution, gives us another glipse of "things don't stay dead on this island very long" plot line. So what about those buried alive? And, once again, we have to wonder why Ben can heal his cancer.
• The campers know who the Russian is so we know that everyone is talking to each other after their escapades instead of living parallel lives.
• A close up of Jack's tattoo reveals a number "5" that is filled with green ink. What will that mean?
• I keep hearing rumblings that someone isn't who they say they are. Sun said that since Jack's been back, "he seems different." Is this foreshadowing? After all, she's pretty perceptive that the Others will want her baby.
Final Scenes
• Once again, the damn Juliet is the culprit. She leaves a tape recorded message for Ben in the Flame station on the status of Sun's baby. She says she will get info on the others, and mentions Austin (is that Kate?), and she says ends the recording with "I hate you" after she turns off the recorder.
• Parachutina finally comes around after the one-eyed Russian asperated her lung and fixed her up. Now, though, she's speaking in English. Hurley immediately starts quizzing her and asks if she's there to rescue the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. She's familiar with the flight, alright, but says she isn't there to save them. After all, the plane had been found and there were no survivors!
Did I miss anything? Anybody catch the combination to the safe in Sun's father's office? Was it an Easter egg as our familiar mystery numbers?

Actually, Juliet hit the stop button before saying "I hate you."
Is this Dolly bah-bah related?
