She who shall not be named has wrangled a $1M fee from NBC to be interviewed by Meredith Vieira. NBC News, which has said they won't pay for news and/or interviews, has managed to skirt their own policy. MADD is outraged, saying the whole spectacle is making a mockery of drunk driving by making it profitable for the perpetrator.
Now that she's found God, I'm sure she'll be donating all that money to a worthy charity. But don't hold your breath.
Update 6/22 2:15EDT: NBC News has denied the whole story. A follow up story has indicated the original info on the interview came out of rival ABC.
