I got to thinking about it after I posted the Salley O'Malley meets The Sopranos clip yesterday. I absolutely LOVE this music. Any ideas on what the genre is? I mentioned a while back I was a trumpet player. I would have loved to be in a band playing this type of music.
Once I got snooping around on YouTube I started down memory lane. Funny how certain things can remind you of a time in your life. For me, those usually revolve around television.
Here's the ABC Sunday Night Movie bumper with an original Dynasty teaser at the end.
And the NBC Mystery Movie bumper showing Rock Hudson prior to his AIDS diagnosis and coming out.
With ABC and NBC represented, I had to include CBS too.
This was at the tail end of the era where there were three main broadcast networks. Things have sure changed.

Since I can't see videos at work, please please PLEASE tell me the video clip is of the spinning silver HBO with the colored lights that race aroudn the O as you "swoop inside" it.

I was thinking of you when I wrote this post and asked about the musical genre since it is kinda perfect for marching bands with lots of brass.
