The life of a consultant can be feast or famine. Things have been quiet for about a week or two. I've been doing some volunteer stuff for the Political Action Committee where I am a member of the Board of Directors. I did a quick design for the Awards Dinner theme and you've seen how I revamped their web site into a blog.
Now it is feast time. Even though I'm 3,000 miles away, my value add is that I kick ass on turn around time. Generally, I get direction on one day and it's in their InBox the next morning when they arrive at work. That's better than most people provide that work just down the street!

Here's hoping the feast continues! Congratulations. It sounds like a lot of work, but at least you are working for yourself. There are advantages to working for someone else, but you are really at the mercy of your boss in so many ways. I guess it's a trade off either way, but my job has me a bit fried at the moment.
