I get such a kick out of the speech patterns of the locals. There's "punkin" (pumpkin), "cawfee" (coffee), "eggsit" (exit), and "pockabook" (purse). I have to admit I'm a sucker for any accent at all...English, Texan, Southern, and we're gonna see about Bostonian.
On our way back from the apple orchard, we stopped and inspected the punkins at a roadside stand.
