How Many Queens Are Worth $90?

How much would you pay to see Queen Latifah? How about in a venue that has world-renowned acoustics? Um, and what if it's just down the street from where you live?

Take the new poll in the sidebar!

Yes, I'm debating. That price is pretty steep. She's appearing at the Troy Music Hall to promote her new CD. It's a really intimate venue and I'm sure it will be like she is sitting in your lap. I'm a fan but I can't say I'm a huge fan. I'm certainly interested in hearing her new bluesy, soulful act. Hmmmm, I'm torn.

I'll keep you posted.

OOOOOOO! That's a tough one! I'd be struggling with that one too. In my mind, I'm thinking, "would I pay $90 for a Broadway play ticket in NYC?" The answer to that one is yes and no. Depending on the play, I'd pay even more than that. Now, comparing QL to a play...is she worth it? Another thought...think of the best concerts or one man/woman show that you have ever seen. How much did you pay? Were any of them ever worth $90? Hmmmmmmm?

All Hail The Queen!

I probably would spend $90 for a small hall with good acoustics and an artist of this calibre. The problem is, they keep trying to charge $90 for the back row of Meadowlands, which is not the same deal at all.

Go already. I would, even if I had to work my corner an extra day!
