Putting The Queen On Hold

I've decided against seeing Queen Latifah on Friday. The price is just too high. I was on the fence, and after Idle Eyes and a Dormy declined to go, that was the final decision maker. I'll find a better way to spend that $90.

I'm closing the "Is Queen Latifah Worth $90?" poll. Only four of you answered: three said they'd stretch their budget and one said they'd pass up the concert because they didn't like her that much.

The poll obviously lacked inspiration for folks to even click a radio button! I've started a new silly poll in the sidebar.

I'm glad you axed that question.

I love Queen Latifah, but I honestly could not name one song she sings (or raps or whatever).

I think you made a wise choice. (And I think we all know how important it is that I give my approval...lol)

I would have clicked the "no" button. I like her, but wouldn't pay to see her. Spend the money at the Celtics game...

I'm not much of a concert-goer anyway. Usually when there's an artist I want to see in town I put their songs up on my iTunes and have my own private concert. That way I can enjoy them without someone in front of me texting, someone next to me talking, and someone behind me kicking my seat.

That hall sounds pretty nice though; maybe someone else will come there and you can check it out then. Maybe Kathy Griffin!

oh, shame on me, i missed it. I'd have clicked a hypothetical yes - seeing as I almost NEVER spend $ to go to anyone's concert. I love QL, I think she's a great role model for young women.
