Speaking of demanding better service, I got Mother Nature's attention when I bitch slapped her upside the head with my little fit last week.
Taylor shows 69˚ in the sun. We are heading for record high temps, as opposed to just five days ago when it was a freakishly freezing minus 6˚. I mean it's shorts and t-shirt weather.
Most of those inches of snow from the past month have melted into the grass with only remnant piles left where snowbanks from shoveling and plowing once were.
What's really pissing me off? I'm headed out of town this weekend for warmer climes and I want it to be a blizzardy, miserable, tundra-esque landscape when I'm gone. Is that wrong?

Freakishly Warm

Years ago, the one time I visited Florida in the winter (February, it was), the temps in the Albany were around 60 degrees. I felt the same way! And it's supposed to be cooler down here this weekend!!! Looking forward to seeing you! Got some things planned!
I don't know...i can't fully appreciate the unseasonably warm weather without being dogged with thoughts of climate change and global doom. But that's just me...
It's 72 at the moment.. this is just so not right. This from the woman that commences with the bitching she's freezing the second the thermometer drops below 50.
I have a bad feeling about this.. But have a safe trip honey!
I am hoping the temperature drops myself. This warm weather is not good for the trees and shrubs. Last year we lost a lot of old rhododendrons and it nearly killed my favorite magnolia. We're gonna be sorry when the Antarctic ice shelf lets loose and Boston winds up under water.
I never thought I'd say this but I hope the rest of the winter is cold.
