Have you been watching 60 Minutes lately? I have a favorite new interviewer: Lara Logan.
Last night's interview with Pervez Musharraf was outstanding. She was informed and didn't let him skate on any of the issues and questions. Even Pervez commented that she had really done her homework.
She re-framed his answers back to him so it was clear what he was on the record as saying. She also has an interesting technique: when the interviewee makes a statement that flies in the face of common sense, she makes an aside comment about what the facts really are and just lets it hang there waiting for them to respond.
Is she the new Mike Wallace?

I will third that. Plus, she's a tad more pleasing on the eyes than Wallace :)
Oh, I hope this shows up on YouTube. Musharraf is a toad (or should I say, a Bull-y-frog?).
