Last season, I did some extensive recaps of each episode. Although they were very popular with moi, they didn't seem to be very popular with my blog readers or even on Google searches. Except for the post where I mentioned the "medusa spider" which brought literally thousands of hits my way.
Anyway, to save myself a lot of effort for minimal return, I think I'll just comment on things that struck me during this season's episodes.
** SPOILERS FOR REST OF POST **
• The most obvious question, Who are the Oceanic 6? We know that Jack, Kate, and Hurley are three. Kate said at the end of last season in her meeting with Jack that "he" was waiting for her. Is "he" Sawyer? Is that person one of the six? Is there a plot twist in the next few years where she ends up hooking up with someone else? Is the person in the coffin one of the Oceanic 6? What about Michael and Walt?
• If you win the lottery, and then they think you are dead and your possessions are passed to your heirs, they spend it all, and you aren't dead after all, what happens then?
• Why was Bernard treated like a hero? His ass sang like a bird under pressure.
• With all this tromping around in the woods, where is Old Smokey?
• Is Hurley really crazy, or does he just see people others can't?
• If Jack is going to grow a beard, the hair and makeup folks need to put gray in it to make it believable. There's lots of gray in his scruff.
• If they aren't sure about the folks from the freighter, why not separate into two groups. Put Sayid in the group they meet, and if they're trouble, he'll know what to do.
** DOUBLE WARNING SPOILER AHEAD **
• The gal who plays Juliet was on The View yesterday. Whoopi, who confessed to being a huge fan of the show, disclosed that there will be a second Oceanic 815 flight revealed.
• Is the flight that Naomi mentioned, the one where the flight was found and there were no survivors? Is this part of an elaborate cover up of the "secret"?
• Who is the black guy that showed up at Hurley's institution? He's obviously involved in trying to uncover the secret the Oceanic 6 are keeping. Is he a good guy or bad guy? Government or sinister corporate entity?
For you Losties, please comment on the points above and raise your own here. I'd enjoy injecting a bit of gossipy, speculating feeling to these posts!

Who is Oceanic 6? Who is "he"? Those questions lingered with me throught the show.
I also wonder about what Hurley sees but then realize the other survivors have "visions" too.
LOST is brilliant. It stirs such creative thinking. I don't think the writers can satisfy us with an ending --they are doing just fine by making us wonder even more.
So much to think about...another thought...Hurley went with John...so how did he end up off the island with Jack? And is it me or not...did Naomi resemble the girl that spoke to John when he was with the others? I thought it was the same person last season.
It gets more and more complex...
I love Hurley!
I think I am the only American alive who doesn't watch this show. I missed it in the beginning, and it seems pointless to try to jump in midstream.
cowbell--watch for my post this Thursday!
