It was gals night singing songs from the 70's. This week seemed to be opposite of last week...the guys were much better than the gals.
My Favorites Of The Night
Carly Smithson — Crazy On You
• Talks with an Irish accent, sings with an American one.
Ramiele Malubay — Don't Leave Me This Way
• I'm surprised there weren't more disco songs. Is disco really dead?
Kristy Lee Cook — You're No Good
• She belted it out.
Brooke White — You're So Vain
• There is probably only one song ever sung that I absolutely hate and this is it. Still, I have to give it to her for singing it well. And the interplay with the song being about Simon after was fun even if it was expected.
The rest of the gals were either off key, uninspiring, or both.

I watched last night even though I vowed I wouldn't. I had two favorites, Carly and Brooke. I used to like that rocker chick but I think she's taken her fringe standing too far too the fringe to be appealing, plus the Kansas track did not suit her at all.
I thought Brooke's take on "You're So Vain" was a great rendition of the track. And I fall for all things Irish, hence my liking Carly Smithson. :) She sang very well too.
