New York Lt. Governor David Paterson has managed his side of the Spitzer whore-gate with skill. For once, it seems that the media and his opponents have nothing but kind words to say. Let's hope that continues!

It won't last, but I'm currently taking bets on the length of his grace period. Probably given that his predecessor was removed following a rancourous scandal it might be as long as three months.
Enjoy it while it lasts!
He's been a hero of mine for a very long time. He's articulate, funny, and knows his way around to get people together.
This Spitzer thing is so shocking. I met him many years ago in NYC at some rally and was struck by his incredible eyes. Oh well.
Don't count Paterson our any time soon. It seems to he that he has quite a gift.
