I'm finding it is really important to watch the Thursday repeat with the subtitles to follow what's going on. Like the fact that Ben is planning a Purge #2.
**SPOILER ALERT**
Here are some of my random thoughts from this week:
• The obvious question is what happened to Jin after he got off the island.
• Kate had a map of the island that she used to show Jin and Sun where to go to find Locke's camp. It has a big question mark in the center just like the blacklit map in the now-imploded Swan station. If I'm not mistaken, we still haven't seen what is there. Is it the home of Jacob? Old smokey? Both?
• We all pretty much knew who was going to be the spy on the freighter.
• Dirk predicted that the Oceanic 6 would be those who weren't on the island when the Swan station imploded. Jack, Kate, Hurley were on the dock. Sayid, Jin, and Sun were on the boat taking a tour off the shore of the 4 toed statue. I can't remember...was Aaron born yet? If not, maybe that's why he wasn't exposed to the radiation. Remember that the new guy asked if anyone had been exposed when Desmond went nutty on the freighter. Maybe the rest CAN'T get off, even if they want to. That leaves Sawyer who must either die or decides to stay on the island.
• Why did Dharma build the Tempest gas station anyway? A fail-safe in case their experiments went all Jurassic Park?
• Juliet is one tough broad. She keeps getting in fights where she gets the shit kicked out of her.
• Juliet is a needy broad. It wasn't long after Goodwin took a spear to the chest then she had her hormones set on Jack. Can't say as I blame her, but a little time for mourning Goodwin seemed in order.
• Where did they go in the helicopter now?
• Was the mess that Michael had to clean up the result of a suicide?
• Did I get it right that they said that Ben was the one that set up the faked discovery of the Oceanic 815 flight?
Now it's time for you Losties to chime in. Tell me what you're thinking!

Yes, the captain said that Ben set up the fake plane/bodies. But the note also said, don't trust the captain. But then again...was the note written by Ben's spy?
I was in tears at the end of the episode....partly because they used the same music from past tragedies.
They kept showing the tombstone. I wonder if next week's pop up version will translate what it said.
And Hurley being there...I assume it is before he winds up in the sanitarium.
About the tombstone..think maybe it could be a memorial because if he died on the island, how could they get his body back if they leave so many behind (unless they all die..which I'm hoping isn't the case). Plus time-wise it said 2004 on his grave-marker. It makes sense that he dies in the next few episodes & we have two reasons why. We learned that it was December 24th, 2004. So he dies somewhere in the next 7 island days. Also, when he said to Sun that he would never leave her...that is a prelude to - he's next! Also, maybe Sun was waiting until the baby was born to have a Memorial for him. Because she is only 2 months pregnant as of 12/24/04. So you figure the baby looked like she was 1 or 2 months old..so you figure the baby was born in July of 2005 (approx)..and then she looked like she could have been 1 or 2 months old..so that bring you to Sept 2005 which would have been the 1yr anniversary of the plane crash. Hurley as of yet didn't go to the sanitarium because we know that when Jack visits Hurley he tells him he is thinking about growing a beard..flash-forward Jack episode last year, he has that beard. So that happened after. The episode with Kate is around the same time he saw Hurley..he didn't have the beard and Aaron looked like he was 3 years old which makes sense that it is then 2007. Did they delay Kate's trial? Maybe that is why she didn't go to Jin's funeral like Hurley did because her trial was delayed and she couldn't leave the state. Her & Sun were close so it would make sense for her to go see her & the baby & to go to Jin's memorial service. The thing I want to know is what happened before they left..did the rest die? Did they just pick & choose who would go on the rescue like they said we can only take 6? What happens in between Jin's memorial & when Kate goes to court? What causes Hurley to go back in the institution - guilt? Guilt for leaving people behind? Or just because he had visions of Charlie? Remember though he had guilt before when he was in the insitution the first time. When he was at the party where the people died when the deck or balcony fell. I have SO many questions. I love that this show brings so many people together & makes us think.
PS - I posted a review of both Lost & AI...on my blog if you want to give it a look-see.
