It was gals night singing songs from the 80's. I enjoyed almost all of the performances of the night and it was hard to whittle it down to a top 4.
Ryan and the judges had a great time amongst themselves which did a disservice to the singers. They rambled on so much about inane stuff that the show ran out of time. Yes, the banter is entertaining, but remember the show ain't about y'all.
My Favorites Of The Night
Kristy Lee Cook — Faithfully
• One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite groups. She did great.
Asia'h Epperson — I Wanna Dance With Somebody
• She did a great job covering Whitney Houston.
Brooke White — Love Is A Battlefield
• Last week she got my attention by doing a great job of my most hated song ever. This week she put an impressive spin on Pat Benatar. I don't see her as an "Idol" though. Maybe over the coming weeks?
Carly Smithson — I Drove All Night
• This Irish lass is like the Australian stud among the guys...consistently very good.
The judges loved the naughty nurse Amanda Overmyer singing I Hate Myself For Loving You. Me, not so much.
It will be interesting to see who doesn't get enough votes to stay.

Can't believe Asia'h is gone. I totally woul've chopped the other mousy girl... or even the asian hooker chick.
I agree with cb. I also am not a fan of "the actress" or Amanda. The actress always has that cheese eating grin, and Amanda needs to go crack open a Pabst, and smoke another hit of meth. She looks ridden hard, and put away wet.
