Results Shows: Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, and Top Chef

**SPOILER ALERT**

Dancing With The Stars
Shannon Elizabeth didn't get enough votes to stay. I like her...she worked very hard on the show. I think her long body just wasn't made for gyrating her hips which is an essential part of the latin dances.

American Idol
It was Brooke White who didn't get enough votes to stay. She cried and cried. Heck, she cried and cried when everyone else was voted off, too. From the very beginning, I liked her even though there was something that always bugged me. I never figured it out and now I don't have to care!

Yesterday I didn't mention the Paula scandal. Frankly, I didn't think it was that big of a deal until the media exploded. The judges were supposed to review all singers after they sang their second song. Seacrest, sensing he had some extra time after the first songs, went off script and went to the judges and asked them to give their impressions so far. He meant as a group, but Randy gave a review of each. Caught unaware, Paula reviewed them all too by looking at her notes. She had written down some items and ended up commenting on both of Jason's songs even though he'd only sang one. What she said ended up being correct so no harm no foul as far as I'm concerned.

Top Chef
Cleanliness-challenged Mark was asked to pack his knives and go. Antonia won the Quickfire and main contests.

I think of you EVERY week when Jason is "safe". We can't get rid of this guy. It is like Bob in "What About Bob?". LOL!

About Brooke, maybe it is the pout that bothered you or the fact that she constantly talked while the judges were talking?

If it were at all fair, Jason would have been gone weeks ago.

Or at the very least, last night.

I actually cried a bit when she left- she was obviously heartbroken.

I teared up when Brooke was obviously struggling through her exit. Her heart was broken. I think she's a great singer, I just don't think she's AI material. I wish her well.

I fast forward through Jason Castro now.

Good riddance, Brooke. It's not that she doesn't have potential, but I think she think she's knows best and her own fear of stepping outside the box is holding her back.

RE: Paula's brainfart. Boy, the media sure loves to jump on stuff like this. I thought it was David whose mystery performance she commented on. I figured she looked down at her notes, saw David written twice (because there are two in the competition) and got confused. Either that or David Cook's performance was so bland for the first song, it felt like two! This could have happened to anyone, but the tabloid media that rules today has to spin it in this tawdry way. Shame.
