In Order Of My Preference

Kristi Yamaguchi (Mark Ballas)
Dance 1: Quick Step
• Light on their feet.
• They've practiced so much it seems effortless and they aren't counting the steps.
• Judges score: 9 10 10 = 29



Dance 2: Samba
• Mark can shake his thing!
• Interesting skating-inspired twirls.
• A little behind the music.
• Judges score: 8 9 9 = 26

Mario (Karina Smirnoff)
Dance 1: Viennese Waltz
• Good extension.
• Elegant.
• Impressive lift.
• Judges score: 9 9 9 = 27

Dance 2: Jive
• Schlocky opening jump.
• High stepping.
• Entertaining, like we were at a sock hop.
• Too ambitious lift at the end.
• Judges score: 9 8 9 = 26

Jason Taylor (Edyta Sliwinska)
Dance 1: Tango
• Crisp and clean.
• In command of the dance.
• Judges score: 10 9 10 = 29

Dance 2: Samba
• Looks like he's dancing in sweat pants.
• A bit awkward, seems to be walking instead of dancing.
• Gratuitous lift at the end.
• Judges score: 8 7 8 = 23

Marissa Jaret Winokur (Tony Dovolani)
Dance 1: Foxtrot
• She's confident and sassy.
• They don't cover a lot of ground, I think because of her shorter stature.
• She pulled the "I had cancer" card in the pre-dance interview clip.
• Judges score: 9 8 8 = 25

Dance 2: Mambo
• No gimmicks, really enjoyable dance.
• Judges score: 8 8 9 = 25

Cristian de la Fuente (Cheryl Burke)
Dance 1: Tango
• He's dancing despite the tear he suffered in his left bicep last week.
• It was okay; the injury seemed to hamper him.
• Judges score: 10 9 9 = 28

Dance 2: Mambo
• Out of sync.
• Nice lift at the end and it worked well with his immobilized arm.
• I thought it was okay but the judges loved it.
• Judges score: 10 9 10 = 29

I'm still loving Mark Ballas!
