The top four drew at random the dances they were to perform. Each couple has performed all of the dance styles up to this point in the competition.
Cristian drew the Samba, the same dance where he injured his arm. He is essentially dancing with one arm. I think he's receiving a healthy amount of sympathy votes.
In Order Of My Preference
Kristi Yamaguchi (Mark Ballas)
Dance 1: Tango
• Great speed.
• Interesting choreography.
• Mark makes funny facial expressions despite his effort to hold them back.
• Judges score: 10 9 10 = 29
Dance 2: Jive
• Lots of action!
• Fast and intricate.
• Fun, fun, fun. :)
• Judges score: 9 9 10 = 28
Jason Taylor (Edyta Sliwinska)
Dance 1: Foxtrot
• Beautiful lines.
• Classic ballroom style.
• Judges score: 9 10 9 = 28
Dance 2: Paso Doble
• Some awkward moves.
• He's a bit clunky and mechanical.
• Judges score: 9 9 9 = 27
Marissa Jaret Winokur (Tony Dovolani)
Dance 1: Quick Step
• As usual, she can sell the dance and looks like she's having a blast.
• In this dance, where they have to cover a lot of ground and being of different heights, I think they are at a disadvantage.
• Judges score: 9 9 8 = 26
Dance 2: Rumba
• Seems to lack choreography.
• Slow and boring.
• Judges score: 8 9 9 = 26
Cristian de la Fuente (Cheryl Burke)
Dance 1: Viennese Waltz
• I don't like the song choice.
• Her posture is great and costume accentuates her movements.
• He looks stiff, and not in a good way.
• Judges score: 9 9 9 = 27
Dance 2: Samba
• He's having a great time.
• He isn't counting the steps, just dancing and in the moment.
• Judges score: 10 9 10 = 29
My honey Mark Ballas jokingly demonstrated a creepy thing...he can move his eyes independently, looking into the camera with one eye and looking away on the other. Do you know why his last girlfriend broke up with him? He was seeing someone on the side! Rimshot.
