When It Rains

It is chilly and rainy here today. They say it's going to warm up by the weekend.

I'm in work deadline hell. With the California election coming up on June 3, I've had to create an ad (done), create a direct mail piece (1/2 done), negotiate with printers and mail houses (done), prep and verify a 5000 record database (done), and create a web post (done).

On top of that, my other client had two brochures that needed to be updated. I finished those late last night.

The thing is that these are all deadline driven. And when I say deadline, I mean yesterday. The election isn't going to change dates, and the mailer has to get in people hands before then so there is no wiggle room. I should have everything done and out the door by noon my time (9 a.m. in CA) and then I can get away from the computer for a while!
