It's Week 6 and I'm up 2 lbs. to 171. Last week I celebrated being in the 160s, but that was a fleeting moment given this morning's display on the scale.
I'm getting tired of dieting, too, even though I've had great progress. I find myself saying, "Oh, one little piece of pie won't hurt." Or a Taco Bell steak fajita burrito.

Diet Update: First Setback

Don't beat yourself up about it though! Even if you go up and down and keep within a certain range. When people deny themselves altogether that is when diets aren't good. A treat now and then gives you something to look forward to at least. I know all too well how much dieting sucks.

You'd have a hard time at our house where the berries are in season so the pies continue to be prduced and eaten...with ice cream.
I do have to agree with Jodi though...you have to allow yourself a treat every once in a while. And....you were looking mighty fine in NYC in May so don't knock yourself out.
Rodger, you are always so kind. Is there a pocket version of you I can carry around with me?
Seriously, I know I look fine as is, but I've always thought I looked best at 160-165 lbs. I had a bit of a double chin in the pics from the NYC weekend so that inspired me to give up soda and eat lettuce.
I cam only break through a weight loss plateau by increasing my exercise; the best way I have is to walk to work faster than usual.
