I haven't done one of these posts in a while.
I was down to 168 lbs. after my return from New Orleans. That was good, I thought, since my stomach ache kept me from pigging out. I'd made up my mind that I wouldn't get too down on myself if I came back a few lbs heavier as long as I had a good time.
Then came Halloween and a less-than-expected number of ghosts and goblins. That meant one thing — I was overstocked on the candy. Kit Kats, Butterfingers, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and Hershey bars. They didn't last very long.
Last week, it was more eating from the naughty places. Filet-O-Fish, a Whopper, and the fries to go with them. And I've been drinking a lot of regular soda rather than water.
I suppose I should be happy that I weighed in this morning at 173 lbs. I'm fluctuating in this 5 lb range so that's a good thing.

Oh you mentioned peanut buttercups. They don't do them over here but I have tried them and they were delish! :-)
Do they have M&M's with the peanut butter (not peanut) centers? They're almost as good!
I know I know! But I always rationalize ..... it's fall, I'm putting on my winter layer of insulation. Finally last night, the LAST of that candy was gone and it was RODGER who ate it, not me. Whew! (woops...I forgot to mention I'd had carrot cake yesterday).
OMG! Love the M&M's with peanut butter. That and Twix with peanut butter. See that box in your picture. The lady across the hall at work has the *exact* box as a fundraiser for her kid. Ugh!!!! It is SO tempting.
Oh God...chocolate. Must not look at that picture!
If ONLY I had a "5 lb range".
::sigh::
Effing Halloween only makes way for Effing Thanksgiving and Effing Hanukkah and Effing Christmas.
I'm in trouble!
jodi...you caught me! I lifted the pic from a fundraising site! :)
Whereas I've given up on dating and so stopped worrying about my weight and it's gone down. Turns out the stress of worry causes weight gain...
D'oh!
Oprah had some great quote a few years back about how Halloween was the starting gun for the Eating Season. On your marks....
