Ed Sullivan, round about the time of Sweet Charity... It's amazing how the dancing syncs to both numbers.
The only weird thing is the costuming; the dancers on either side should have been in yellow and Miss Verdon in pink to draw the eye to the star.
So much fun! My mom was such a Gwen Verdon and Mitzi Gaynor fan. She always said there was "nutthin' new" in the dance world. That kids always "borrowed" from what they saw done back in the day.
I agree wholeheartedly with MSM above....Miss Verdon should have been the one in pink.
