How Scientology Will Handle Jett's Death And The Travoltas

Here is a summation of how Scientology handles grieving parents, written by a former member. The comments are interesting, too.

In a nutshell, it boils down to blaming the parents for inviting the tragedy into their lives.

Scary. And sad.

Maybe the censure of Scientology will be enough to release the Travoltas from their clutches. A high-profile defection of this nature might destabilize and finally consign this 'religion' to the dustbin of history. Then they'll turn the Scientology Center into a museum of atheism.

Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?

That whole Scientology both fascinates and scares me at the same time.

Kind of like Pierce Brosnan's singing in MAMA MIA...
