The deer had a midnight snack on our evergreen shrubs last night. As the snow covers their food sources and the temperature drops (it has been down in the teens and going to get colder), they get bolder and come right up to the house. In previous years, I've put chunks of Irish Spring soap wrapped in cheesecloth to keep them away. I'll have to do that today. Double click on the image to engorge.

Our deer come right up to the house to eat the rose bushes. It drives me mad that they keep pruning them back but it's even more annoying that they do this after I go to bed and don't get to see them.
Your yard looks beautiful in the snow...I miss ours already.
