Is Everything About Abortion?

Last week on The View, they had a discussion about the Ashley Judd ad targeting Sarah Palin Anastasia Beaverhausen for the killing of wolves in Alaska.

During the on-air debate, Beaverhausen supporter and conservative View panelist Elisabeth Hasselbeck complained that she wished that Judd was as concerned about saving human lives from abortions as she was about wolves. That line of argument irritated me.

• Save the baby seals? What about all those abortions?
• Save the humpback whale? What about all those abortions?
• Save the polar bears? What about all those abortions?
• Save the spotted owl? What about all those abortions?
• Save the praying mantis? What about all those abortions?
• Save the bald eagle? What about all those abortions?
• Save the puppies and kittens from shelters and abuse? What about all those abortions?

Where does this argument stop? It doesn't. There is only one righteous cause, and that's the denying of women's rights and saving fetuses. It is only after we completely stop abortions should any of us consider the animals.

How come we never hear "End the Death Penalty? What about all those abortions?"

They are the biggest bunch of hypocrites in the world.

Like I said before, I hope Palin dies in a helicopter crash, but only after she lies trapped in the wreckage for hours of tortuous pain, followed with immolation as the fuel gradually soaks her clothing and then ignites. That goes for all of the rest of these "hunters" as well. The wolf population is necessary to keep herds of animals healthy and at a sustainable population level. I viscerally hate these people. Can you tell?
