I'm aware of the atrocities that happen in Jamaica and I would never go there for fear of my life. There is now an official movement to Boycott Jamaica by the GLBT community. Not sure it will help but at least we can steer people to safe and affirming vacation destinations.

It's nice to know how ahead of the curve I am... I've actually supported a boycott of the whole Caribbean for over a decade - ever since a cruise ship employee was given a long sentence for sodomy in the Bahamas in the late 90s.
The only reason to go to Jamaica can be bought by the ounce for about $400, here at home.
