In Order Of My Preference
Melissa Rycroft (Tony Dovolani)
Dance 1: Viennese Waltz
• Beautiful, elegant, gorgeous dress.
• No signs of injury.
• Judges score: 9 9 9 = 27
Dance 2: Samba
• Her solo wasn't much of a solo.
• Interesting choreography...Tony has really challenged her this season.
• Judges score: 10 10 10 = 30
Total = 57
Shawn Johnson (Mark Ballas)
Dance 1: Quick Step
• Mark was incredible as usual. Shaun did surprisingly well, too.
• Fast, intricate footwork, wasn't thinking about the steps and just danced.
• Judges said they broke the rules of the dance by separating too much.
• Judges score: 9 9 9 = 27
Dance 2: Paso Doble
• Technically perfect as usual.
• Lots of action and movement.
• Judges score: 10 9 10 = 29
Total = 56
Ty Murray (Chelsie Hightower)
Dance 1: Argentine Tango
• Kinda robotic which actually fits his style.
• Looked like he was going to drop her on the lift.
• Judges score: 8 9 8 = 25
Dance 2: Rumba
• Problems balancing on some of the intricate holds.
• He's had trouble with both dances tonight.
• Judges score: 7 7 7 = 21
Total = 46
Gilles Marini (Cheryl Burke)
Dance 1: Foxtrot
• It was the style of the dance, but I found it boring.
• Smooth.
• Judges score: 10 9 10 = 29
Dance 2:
• He's a smooth dancer and character.
• Not as good as his others.
• Judges score: 9 9 9 = 27
Total = 56
Lil' Kim (Derek Hough)
Dance 1: Waltz
• Beautiful silhouettes.
• Well paced and under control.
• Judges score: 8 9 8 = 25
Dance 2: Salsa
• Every week she seems to lose track of the steps and they get out of sync.
• Solo was in the middle which was gutsy.
• Judges score: 9 9 9 = 27
Total = 52
Go Ty!
