Burj Khalifa

Amazing what $25B will buy nowadays.

Dubai opened the world's tallest skyscraper (2,717' tall), and in a surprise move renamed the gleaming glass-and-metal tower Burj Khalifa in a nod to the leader of neighboring Abu Dhabi — the oil-rich sheikdom which came to its rescue during the financial meltdown.

Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the ruler of Abu Dhabi and serves as the president of the United Arab Emirates, the federation of seven small emirates, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
I don't think I'll have a building named after me anytime soon.
