Happy Halloween

After the snow earlier in the week the temps are expected to be in the 50˚F range today. We had a hard frost this morning and I'm waiting for it to warm up so I can go out and rake some leaves.

Happy Halloween from the land of Ichabod Crane!

RePost: Jack O' Lantern Ideas

I'm getting a lot of Google search hits on this post so I figure it's worth reposting.

Happy Halloween!

We usually get about 75 trick or treaters here. In California, I had NO ghosts and goblins for 18 years. Then I moved to Santa Ana and we had lots of pirates and faeries. Oh, and there were about 500 children, too.

This year I'm giving out min-Tootsie Pops and mini-Tootsie Rolls (1 of each). When I was a kid, the candies I hope for most were Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Charm's Lollipops.

What do you hope to get for Halloween?
