I Have A Fantasy

I picked my first Fantasy Basketball team for the 2006-07 season on Yahoo! sports. Technology really has made it a fun and amazing process, where 10 strangers from across the country thrown together by serendipity, log in at the same time and take part in a live draft. Very cool. Kudos to the folks at Yahoo! for getting this one right and making their site the best to use.

I have to say I'm not thrilled with my team this year. I think it was my order in the draft that allowed the other team managers to snag the players I wanted. Yeah, yeah, I know, that's the way the mop flops. But, I say with an evil grin, there isn't a limit on how many teams you can have so I may just start another! Here's the lineup for this team:

Forwards

Sam Cassell — LA Clippers
Richard Hamilton — Detroit Pistons
Michael Finley — San Antonio Spurs
Eddie Jones — Memphis Grizzlies
Raymond Felton — Charlotte Bobcats

Last year I was strong at the Center and Guard positions, this year I'm strong in the Forward position. In a quick review of the stats I expect this team to finish about mid-way in the pack. We'll see how it goes...wish me luck!
