Downy Woodpeckers



The male downy woodpecker is in the top picture, easy to identify by the red on the back of his head. They are feasting on fresh suet I put out for yesterday's snowstorm. You can see the snow coming down and blowing in the background.

I wish I could put up bird feeders. Everytime I do the squirls knock em down and eat them.
