• Last week, I asked who plays Isabel "The Sheriff"? Shadow, a reader from the southeast, pointed out that Diana Scarwid is the Sheriff. She played the older Christina Crawford in Mommie Dearest.
• Cheech as Hurley's dad? Did an absent father send him on a chocolate eating binge that has led to his obesity today?
• Mr. Cluck's is now Mr. F*cked's. Who could have seen THAT coming?
• Sawyer Nickname Alert: Kate=Freckles; Charlie=The Munchkin; Hugo=Snuffy; Jin=Jimbo; Roger the Work Man=Skeletor; Hugo=Ese; Hugo=International House of Pancakes; Hugo=Jumbotron; Charlie=Jiminy Cricket
• Hugo Nickname Alert: Sawyer=Red McMahon
• Hugo's mom covered the custom gold carved statue of Jesus' ears so it doesn't hear her say "I have needs". Cute!
• Yamaha ("MAH" on the motorcycle) and Volkswagen (Dharma Logo on the microbus) must have opted out of their product placement opportunity.
• Note to Hurley: You don't have to go 50 mph to start a car by popping the clutch. 10 mph would suffice. But I liked the group jumping in the van and going for a joyride...shades of Little Miss Sunshine.
