The most shocking thing about last week's elimination show is that no one was eliminated. The excuse they gave was that it was in keeping with the night's emphasis on charity — why ruin a night of giving with a downer? Last week's votes (over 70 million) will be combined with this week's votes and the bottom two will be sent packing.

Now for this week's show:
The night was anchored by my childhood BFF and current next-door neighbor Kathy's life-long fantasy man — Jon Bon Jovi. She (Kathy, not Jon) jokes that I was her first husband (minds out of the gutter, please). Contestants sang Bon Jovi tunes.
The Final 6
Chris Richardson — (pictured) "Wanted Dead Or Alive" Fantastic job. But what was up with the white belt?
Phil Stacey — "Blaze of Glory" I keep rooting against this guy, but he did a great job. Harumph.
Jordin Sparks — "Livin' On A Prayer" She had the perfect chance to blow the roof off with two jamming guitarists by her side but she lacked power. A missed opportunity. She should have changed songs when she figured out she was having trouble in the practice session.
LaKisha Jones — "This Ain't A Love Song" She said she never listened to Bon Jovi before. This may have worked to her advantage as she uncovered a great song choice. She did well.
Blake Lewis — "You Give Love A Bad Name" Tons of beat box in this one. Certainly original...I don't know if I liked it or not. He looks better as a spiky blonde.
Melinda Doolittle — "Have A Nice Day" Great rendition and I particularly enjoyed her righteous indignation attitude!

White belts with dark denim was big for a while last year. I guess it's still in.
