Really, this douche bag deserves more than a week in his name. Maybe a lifetime achievement award in douche-baggery?
This guy is the most to blame for our current political climate and global situation. Our country has been polarized by his politics of division, pitting people against people, all the while his candidate was smirking and declaring he was a uniter not a divider. I blame our poor world standing more on him than the feeble jerks in the administration. It was his shrewd, win at any/all cost electoral calculations that got G.W. Bush elected in two successive terms. He played the flute as he led the Sunday sheep to their (and our) ultimate demise.
I wish it were as simple as saying, "Good riddance to bad rubbish" or "Don't let the door hit you on the ass when you leave." Unfortunately, he has left us all with a mess that will take years, possibly decades and generations, from which to recover.
