Wal*Mart said that it is rolling out a new advertising campaign with the slogan, "Save Money. Live Better," after 19 years of using "Always low prices."
If there were truth in advertising laws, it would be "Save Money. Buy Cheap Crap From China." Oh, and when you see me in Wal*Mart buying said crap, please refrain from hurling "hypocrite" in my general direction!

If Wal*Mart is the only big box discount store in your area and you need stuff - by all means go shop there.
I'm in the same situation here in the Boston area believe it or not. There are no Wal*Mart around my area within a bus/subway ride, and the nearest Target is too far away even though it is on mass transit.
What's a cheap queen to do when looking for a trashcan?
How about "Save Money. Earn Less"?
Or just "Please do not lick the paint on these products?"
If I fail to say hello when I see you in Wal*mart, my apologies in advance. You see, I need to get completely wasted on alcohol in order to tolerate Wal*mart. My slogan for that store shall remain "Always White Trash, Always."
Thank you.
I love cheap crap :) But not items made in China, that eliminates 98% of the crap sold at Wal*Mart. LOL
How many apple pies have you made?
Kim — Only one so far and I just had a big slice at midnight.
Eating pie before you go to bed will only make your jeans tighter. Bwaaa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha
rg-- I know, I know. I justified it by telling myself it was "lo cal". But I have lost 5 lbs already getting ready for the excursion to Boston so the pie was kinda a treat too. :)
I wish somebody would buy a gun from a wal-mart and then proceed to shoot that fuckin' happy face.
GOD I hate sprawl-mart!
You are tooooo funny!
There's no Wal-Mart (or as I like to call it, Mall-Wart) anywhere near me, but there are a dozen dollar stores.
I think what Wal-Mart has done is stopped alot of stores from overcharging on the cheap Chinese crap; I find prices at the dollar stores comparable to them.
Wal-mart.
Ugh.
