Cue front-end loaders plowing into a rioting crowd clamoring for food in a depressing over-populated year 2020.
I was channel surfing this evening and ran across The Wizard of Oz. That got me thinking about how certain movies always pop up around the holidays.
When I was young, it was Soylent Green with Charlton Heston. They always scheduled it the night I had to play in the band or sing in the chorus for the school Christmas concert. I don't know why, but I always wanted to see it and was so disappointed every year.

Yes- I am a sick person.. this was always one of my favorites from that era.. that and the Omega Man. Oy, may I rot in hell for admitting it.
Sad thing is, he went through all that crap for nothing since the vast majority of the population is slowly starving and won't give a shit that Soylent Green is made from dead people...
