Fa La La La La, La La La La

My brother reports that the sheriff's department was called to the local Wal*Mart to break up shopper fights this morning. Then this:

A worker died after being trampled by a throng of unruly shoppers when a suburban Wal-Mart opened for the holiday sales rush Friday, authorities said. At least three other people were injured.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. would not confirm the reports of a stampede but said a "medical emergency" had caused the company to close the store, which is in Valley Stream on Long Island.

A police statement said shortly after 5 a.m., a throng of shoppers "physically broke down the doors, knocking (the worker) to the ground." Police also said a 28-year-old pregnant woman was taken to a hospital for observation and three other shoppers suffered minor injuries and were also taken to hospitals.
This poor guy gave his life so greedy dumbasses could save a couple bucks on cheap crap made in China.

Because trampling people to save a buck is what Jesus would have done.

Merry Fucking Christmas.

Two days ago consumer confidence was at an all-time low, and the world was ending because of the economy. One turkey dinner later and there are riots in the stores?

Two to one retailers will pipe up in January and say this was the worst Christmas sales season ever...

What's really going on?

This makes me disgusted to be a human being. I think they should use surveillance cameras to identify as many of the shoppers as possible and bring them all up on charges of involuntary manslaughter - Bunch of evil fuckheaded monsters....

I heard about this earlier. It is just disgusting. To save a few bucks cost an innocent person their lives. It is like people are scavengers or something. Truly disgusting.

Another reason I'm proud to have celebrated "National Buy Nothing Day" today, as usual.

My God that is truly terrible. We went Christmas shopping this morning and even with me hobbling about on my crutch, Christmas shoppers were shopping like it was going to be the last Christmas ever! and I was being pushed all over the place even by pensioners! People become even more selfish and arrogant at a time of year when we should all be thinking of each other etc. That is so terrible! Poor poor guy.
