I'm kinda stealing the idea of this post from What I Saw Today. If you like fashion and/or Project Runway, bop on over and check out the blog. He's a designer in NYC that sketches the latest fashions he sees around the city. It's a unique idea, he's very talented, and it gives you a bit of feeling like you're in the big city, too.
Anyway, I saw something interesting yesterday.
It was an African-American woman. I mean, I think she was from Africa and she was here in America. As I was driving home from the market, I spotted this person walking erect on the sidewalk ahead. Carrying a bag in each hand, and then a huge bag of something balanced on top of her head!
Unusual, that's all.

My favourite moments of any winter usually involve a women only just arrived from India, wearing a sari bundled under a parka and set off with a lovely pair of boots.
Of course, I do feel bad for her, but at the same time it's always a pleasure to see a new Canadian.
