He needs to pull a Clinton and just shove it down their throats. I'm all about coexisting with my fellow creatures- but screw bipartisanship! They had their chance. They fucked up ROYALLY- we don't care anymore what the conservatives think- did they not watch the damned election results???? We the people no longer care about the misguided bullshit excuse for a national policy we've had the last 8 years. You had your turn, you screwed up- now get out of the way so the mess you made can get cleaned up!!
I understand the President's theory that he wants to build bridges and form an inclusive government- and it's a nice idea. But the Republicans are back to the same old obstructionist BS, move on Boss, it's not going to work! Do what you have to do to save us and if they don't want to get with the program- so be it!!!
Sorry about that Gavin, the entire subject at this point just makes me want to go ballistic.
Totally agree with you. Just do it already. It is the same way I felt about the bailout. Just do it.

BUT, I hope this bailout has some built-in wiggle room--if something ain't working, I hope it can be changed on the fly. Keep trying SOMETHING...
