Sad to say I wasn't impressed with any of the dances. There wasn't a one that I would embed here in the post.
In Order Of My Preference
Gilles Marini (Cheryl Burke)
Dance 1: Paso Doble
• A bit clunky.
• Uninspiring.
• Judges score: 10 10 10 = 30
Dance 2: Freestyle
• Great moves, great choreography.
• Great job.
• Judges score: 9 10 9 = 28
Total = 58
Melissa Rycroft (Tony Dovolani)
Dance 1: Paso Doble
• Flow and nice transitions between moves.
• Aggressive.
• Judges score: 10 9 10 = 29
Dance 2: Freestyle
• A lot of fancy footwork.
• Hip hoppy. Wasn't my favorite.
• Judges score: 9 9 9 = 27
Total = 56
Shawn Johnson (Mark Ballas)
Dance 1: Paso Doble
• Technically great.
• Emotionless.
• Judges score: 9 9 10 = 28
Dance 2: Freestyle
• Fun but weird jabberwokky intro.
• Out of sync a bit.
• A lot of running around but it didn't seem they accomplished much.
• I love me some Mark Ballas, but this just didn't do it for me. :(
• Judges score: 10 10 10 = 30
Total = 58
Of the final three, I'm rooting for Melissa. But, if it's based on the final dances, I think that Gilles was the best.
