I'm trying to get more bird pics to share. For the first time, the cardinals have come up to the house. We've seen red breasted woodpeckers, big birds about 10" tall, at a distance at the back of our yard. This morning one was hanging on a feeder by the window. He was also on the suet where the downy woodpeckers spend a lot of time. The cardinals and red breasted woodpeckers are skittish so when I move to raise the camera to snap the photo they fly away. I'll keep trying. All for you my readers. Oy, the sacrifices I make for you! ;)

Looks like a bird to me! And it looks like the season has arrived! Stay warm!
What a great picture! Our snowfall here in the city was a big nothing, by the way.
