"Today In Religious Intolerance"

Starring The Pope! as "The Good Guy":

"Pope Benedict XVI has reasserted the universal primacy of the Roman Catholic Church, approving a document that says Orthodox churches were defective and that other Christian denominations were not true churches.

Benedict approved a document from his old offices at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith that restates church teaching on relations with other Christians. It was the second time in a week the pope has corrected what he says are erroneous interpretations of the Second Vatican Council, the 1962-65 meetings that modernized the church."
And Radical Islamists! in a boring re-run as "The Bad Guys":
"Al-Qaida issued a new audiotape threatening to retaliate against Britain for honoring the novelist Salman Rushdie. The 20-minute speech by Ayman al-Zawahri was entitled Malicious Britain and its Indian Slaves.

Osama bin Laden's deputy lashed out at Britain for having awarded a knighthood to Rushdie last month, saying it was defying the Islamic world by granting the honor to the author of The Satanic Verses, deemed to insult Islam."
Apparently not everyone got the memo that said religion is supposed to be about love, acceptance, and forgiveness. I'm an agnostic and even I know that!

I'm a God fearing Presbyterian. I guess the Pope has decreed that am going to hell. Fortunately I do not believe the Pope.

Isn't it enough to just make you sick? Why are human beings so irrational and hateful? Nice to know there are so many similarities between the Nazi Pope and the Insane Imams. Why are the zealots so intent on the final war amongst themselves, and dragging the rest of us down with them in their little Dungeons and Dragons scenario? It's all so laughable, yet tragic.
