Adam over at This Boy Elroy liked The Golden Compass. While I didn't like it, I mentioned in my review that I liked the concept of the daemon.
In Adam's write-up, he has a cool plug in that I included below. It is interactive. To get your own, go to The Golden Compass site, click on "Daemons" then "Meet Your Daemon" to take a 20 question quiz. Your custom daemon will be revealed.
Now the fun part. I am a moth. But, since daemons don't settle into their final form for a while, y'all that know me can adjust my daemon. When you take the quiz below about me, your input will be combined with my own to keep or change my daemon.

I got the sparrow daemon named Aphelia or something. Hmmm. It says I'm social, modest, and humble. Perhaps I should retake the daemon test...
I was a snow leopard. I was hoping for the polar bear, but still pretty cool. I didn't know they were interactive like that.
I got a cat. No big surprise there. You really ought to read the books. They are SO much better than the movie.
