** SPOILER ALERT **
After winning the Quickfire Challenge, Spike had first choice of what he wanted to serve in the elimination round. The other cheftestants were not allowed to choose the same. He selected tomahawk steaks and scallops. He made a mistake with the scallops since they were frozen. As a result, the dish suffered, and he was asked to pack his knives and go.
Richard won best appetizer and Antonia won best entree. However, it was Stephanie who prepared the best meal and won the Elimination Challenge.

woops. I had watched the episode yet...(tonight). We KNEW spike won the quick-fire... I'm not surprised to hear he had to leave though. See. If we were watching this together, we could have been gossiping all along.
Okay............we watched. I didn't like his commenting to the Restaurant Judge, "Well, the frozen scallops WE'RE in your freezer, so I thought good enough for you, then also for me." BIG mistake, eh? It's okay with me he's gone.
The WHOLE SHOW though..........DID make me want to have a big ole' steak!
