I am a straight Christian grandmother who believes that God is Love. I cannot figure out how two people loving each other and wanting to be married in any way threatens anyone else. Spouses who have multiple affairs and break their wedding vows do great harm to families. Maybe California should pass a proposition against adultery and send all of them to jail. I share your anger over what California has done. It just makes no sense to me.

If only more "straight Christian grandmothers" believed that God is Love in that way. I and many others may not have turned so vehemently away from Christianity if Mom's attitude were the norm for that religion.
